Finding an Interesting Composition at Burns Beach

I live north of Perth, not too far from the coast. My local beach is Burns Beach which provides lots of interest for photography with interesting rock formations and water patterns created by the waves. This beach is where I learnt many of the techniques and approaches I use to landscape and seascape photography.

I go back to Burns Beach and take you through how I find a composition, set up my camera and then wait and time taking a shot with the cycle of the waves to capture an interesting and engaging image. After exploring the beach, I settle of an enticing composition with a warn rock in the foreground covered with green sea moss and a shelf of rock behind it that with the right wave has a miniature waterfall like feature drawing the viewer into the image.
