Surgarloaf Rock
This my second visit to Sugarloaf Rock, but first with my camera. It is probably the most photographed rocky outcrop in Western Australia and I had seen hundreds of photos of it before but seeing it up personal takes your breath away. As it is so popular, I tried to find a slightly different angle to photograph this impressive scene.
This particular visit was in the morning so the sun is rising over my right shoulder. The rocks are very orange and warm. The images I admire of Sugarloaf Rock that others have typically had rocks a darker earthier tone, perhaps it's the time of day, the light, or just post-processing.
